Detailed Explanation of the CoKnown Toolbar
The Animated tutorial above covers just about everything you need to know to Use the Toolbar.
However, if you like to know how everything works, heres the detailed explanation.
When the Toolbar is Off
When the Toolbar is Off - it is Off. Nothing is happening. Nothing is being Recorded Anywhere!
We hate Spyware! Don't You?
(1) Start the Toolbar  Click Start to Start the Toolbar
The CoKnown Toolbar is normally turned off and collapsed when you aren't using it.
(2) Then Select a Project
 Active Projects will show in the Project Menu.
CoSearcher's Projects with Add+ Permissions will show at the bottom
Note: You can Remove Projects from your Toolbar menu by Archiving them on Your Project List on CoKnown.
Toolbar is Running
  Recording Inline Histories
When the Toolbar is on you are Recording Inline Histories to
your Project. This make backtracking quick and easy.
It also glows so remind you that it's recording.
Inline Histories • Project Specific Histories • Show between your SaveMarks • They are permanent (unless you delete them) • Inline Histories Include: Thumbnails, Favicons,
Time & Date, Title & Description
You can Delete Inline Histories at Any time on Your Project Page.
Inline Histories are Only visible to CoSearchers you have given Read+ permissions to. Starting a New Project  (1) Select Start New Project
(2) Give your Project a Title
You can also add a Goal & Keywords
Premium accounts can set Project Privacy
(3) Click Create
You can now Save to Your new Project
Using the Crop Tool The Crop Tool allows you to Save the interesting Part of a Webpage for later viewing Inline on your Project Page.
With Premium account this Crop will also be diaplayed over the Full Saved Page.
(1) Click 
(2) Click & Drag on the webpage to Crop
(3) Click  to Save the SmartMark & Crop
 Saving a SmartMark SaveMarks are like Bookmarks with a 20X the information. SmartMarks are the start of how you keep everything organized.

(2) Click Save on the Create SmartMark window

SaveMark Tip: Save Everything you think is useful!
• You can Arrange SmartMarks how ever you like on Custom Lists.• SmartMarks can be "Demoted" later to Inline Histories • Inline Histories can also be "Promoted" to SmartMarks
Quitting the Toolbar You can start and stop recording as often as you like. It's only 2 clicks to open it back up again.
When the Toolbar is off Nothing it being recorded anywhere.
We take Your Privacy very seriously.

(1) The CoKnown Toolbar saves information ONLY when it's on and you have a Project selected. Nothing is happening when it is off.
(2) Inline Histories are only visible to Your CoSearchers to whom you have given Read Permissions and above.
(3) Inline Histories can be deleted at any time.
Project Privacy Settings
All Public Projects are just that Public anybody can see your Project, SmartMarks, Noteboxes and Conclusions.
If you want (or need) to have your Projects to have Restricted Access or have them be completely Hidden, please consider upgrading to a Gold plan (only $1.95/month).
• Public
Just that public. Only Inline Histories are hidden.
• Restricted
Title and Goal are visible on your Profile Page.
No SmartMarks, Noteboxes, Inline Histories, Custom Lists or Conclusions are shown.
•Hidden
Just that Hidden. No one has access. No one can see it or anything about it.
Unless you choose to give them permissions to see it.
What You Can't Save on a Public Project
CoKnown is Family Friendly!
Please do not save anything into a Public Project that is above a PG rating.
Anyone found saving questionable material into a Public Project will have their account suspended.
You may save anything legal into a Hidden Project.

CoKnown is a Research tool. We provide users with the tools they need to perform research on the Internet.
We also try to make sure these tools are used in a copyright compliant fashion.
If what you're Cropping on a webpage is copyrighted please do not save it to a Public Project.
